ABOUT
Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Marta Truszkiewicz, a designer and landscape architect by trade who absolutely adores her two greyhounds Leo & Phoenix. They inspire me to draw stories about sighthounds and their four-legged friends.
After obtaining an advanced degree in landscape architecture from Warsaw Life Science University, I had an opportunity to work on local and international design projects with multiple reputable design companies in Poland. I was especially fond of the projects aimed at designing and redesigning contemporary and historical (mostly public) open spaces. Not only did I get to learn about the history of the places we were working to (re)create, but I was able to do so alongside my close friends and colleagues as part of the and in collaboration with some amazing architects and urbanists studios.
In my many years as a professional landscape architect, I have always strived to use my formal education as well as my art skills and social-psychology approach to create well-suited, functional, and highly aesthetic public spaces. The spaces would embrace the ideals of being people-friendly, meaningful social connections, and encourage spending time outdoors.
I strongly believe in a cooperative design process. This is why
I enjoy incorporating public consultations with the communities for which I design as well as supporting my technical drawings with customer-friendly, easily understandable illustrations.

Communicating to the customer the theme and reasoning behind our projects is paramount and feedback is helpful to the final outcome.
As I have recently relocated to France, I have decided to pursue a lifelong ambition of establishing my own design studio where I can combine my passion for the illustrative arts and landscape architecture & design. This is how Greyt Collective was established.
I invite you to explore my past projects and connect with me regarding possible illustrative art or landscape design collaborations. Welcome to the Collective! We can do Greyt things together.
